A "Happy Tail" Ending
One year later...a joyful reunion.  Staff, volunteers and families gathered to greet the rescue puppies that had been abandoned a year ago.  This was one of the worst cases of neglect we've seen and to now see the dogs happy and healthy was so exciting.  You can read more about this event on KFOR Enid

Rescue Puppies

These photos are just a small example of the terrible conditions these dogs arrived in. These 10 puppies were so glad to get cleaned up and out of those three little kennels.  They are now receiving medical attention, care and food.  We are evaluating them daily and will keep you informed right here on our special page for them.  You can also click on the name links above to see individual progress and photos.

The Enid SPCA has had many phone calls and inquires about these survivors.  We are so grateful for the donations and public support to help with the extra medical care and feeding of these animals.  You are all making a difference in the lives of these sweet pets.  If you would like to help sponsor one of these special animals, please call or come by the Enid SPCA 233-1325 or 1116 Overland Trail.

Thank You All

People are Making a Difference

Meet Lexi Neahring

Lexi donated her birthday money she had received to help the rescued puppies. She wanted to help and could not wait for her Mom to hurry and bring her to our SPCA so that she could hand over her donation money.

Meet Kalista Layton

Kalista Layton, daughter of Rodney and Rosie Layton, also gave her own money to the shelter, to help provide the extra care it will take to get these puppies on the road to recovery.
