Dog Days of Summer at the Enid Farmers Market...all kinds of fun things to do with your dog made this a really successful Saturday at the Farmers Market. Music, food, handmade items and fun are just some of the reasons people flock to the market on Saturday mornings. It was a really fun day and we are there every Saturday with some of our guests from the SPCA. We love to meet people, so please stop by our booth as you come into the market.
Enid SPCA Receives $10,000 Grant from PetSmart® Charities for our Spay and Neuter Program
We are very excited to announce the Enid SPCA received a 10,000 grant from PetSmart Charities to increase its number of spay/neuter operations. We will be starting SNIP, Enid’s only low cost spay/neuter clinic. SNIP stands for Spay Neuter Immunize Pets and will be for families with a total income under $40,000 per year.
Enid has a pet overpopulation problem that can be greatly improved with responsible pet ownership. People will often ask if it is safe to spay/neuter their pet. Spaying and neutering your pet reduces their risk for ovarian, uterine or breast cancer in females and prostate or testicular cancer in males.
The ESPCA is excited about the opportunity we have to make a difference in the lives of so many families and pets in our community as well as lowering the euthanasias due to pet overpopulation. Enid's 10th Annual Wine & Food Festival
Come and join us for Enid's largest tasting event!
It's a fun time to get dressed up and try great new food and drink from some of the local area places. Best of all the proceeds benefit the Enid SPCA and help make our shelter a success each year. It's a great way to show your support for a great mission.

Enid Farmers Market
See us at the Enid Farmers Market each Saturday May - November from 8:00am to 11:00am on the corner of Garriott and Grand at the historic Rock Island Train Station. We have a great little area right as you come into the market. Stop by and say hello to our furry representatives. We will have a couple of shelter friends there to answer your questions.
Did you know that the Enid SPCA has a great Pet Tag I.D. System now? We can engrave both sides on many of our tags and prices range from about $8.00 to $15.00. They are great for Pets, Luggage, Backpacks, People and More...These fun tags come in many shapes and themes and can usually be done while you wait.
PARK AVENUE THRIFT
A great big THANKS! goes to Park Avenue Thrift. They donated an entire pallet of kitty litter. This is an item that we use all the time, so it was a huge help to our shelter.
GOURMET DOG TREATS
We now have gourmet dog treats. These are the same great treats that were formally served at Dog-A-Licious Barkery.
