Heidi

 Week 1

Heidi's incoming status was poor. Covered in fleas, Heidi had obviously been chewing and scratching at her rear end (a common hangout for colonies of fleas), so much so that it was raw. Her face and ears also showed signs of flea allergy.
These photos show Heidi's tail area, which had been overrun with fleas and chewed raw. After a medicated bath, the areas were scrubbed and antibiotic ointment would need to be applied until the sores healed.

 Week 2

Heidi is doing great. After some topcal medication on her sores, she is beginning to grow hair back on her hind end. She was spayed this week, as well as fully vaccinated. Heidi will be one of the first of these dogs ready to go home.
