Chandler

 Week 1

Chandler's incoming status was bad. The neglect and poor treatment had really taken a toll on him. He had a severe skin infection, with mats that had pulled fur away from his skin and left large hairless patches. He also tested positive for heartworm.
These photos show how the hair had come out in places due to matting and poor care.

 Week 2

Chandler is on a slow road to recovery. He began his heartworm treatment, which involves two rounds of arsenic-based medicine injected into the back muscles. This is very painful. After thirty days, he will receive an oral medication to finish up the treatment. Chandler is also getting medicated baths to soothe his skin, which is still very itchy from his flea allergies.
